  • Long Description: NEW ORLEANS, La. - Kattie Wilson, Buhl, Ala., pulls drywall out of a home damaged by floods following Hurricane Katrina. Wilson, a junior at Tuscaloosa County High School, Northport, Ala., is a member at Corinth Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa, Ala., and a volunteer with Operation New Orleans Area Home (NOAH) Rebuild, an effort to help 1,000 families return to their hurricane-damaged homes. Operation NOAH Rebuild is a partnership initiative between Southern Baptists and The Salvation Army. More than 6,000 volunteers have participated in Operation NOAH Rebuild since its inception.
